B.TECH ADMISSION IN INDIA 2013

This is an article about B.E/B.Tech admission in India. It will help you in B tech Admission Session 2013.

Two types of admission generally held for B.Tech.

a)      Direct admission

b)      Lateral Entry Admission

Direct admission held after Higher Secondary and the course duration is 4 years. But in lateral entry the required qualification is Diploma engineering. In this type you are directly getting admission in 2nd year so the course duration is 3 years instead of the total course. Most of the universities offer 10% seats to the lateral entry program. There is no common admission test for lateral entry but for the regular degree there are so many admission tests held.

Most of the universities hire 15% students through AIEEE and the rest by their own entrance test and by the state level entrance tests. Here we are giving the list of the entrance held for B.Tech Admission in India tests conducting by the states.

  • Tripura- TBJEE

You are allowed to face more than one among these listed above. The 1st choice must be AIEEE 2013 as it is the largest engineering entrance examination.

And now the national level entrance held for B.Tech Admission in India. IIT JEE is most popular among them. In our country there are 16 IITS including the old and the news.

3)      BITS – BITSAT

4)      Railways – SCRA
